Sturt Holdfast Marion Cycling Club is based at the Edwardstown Velodrome on East Terrace South Plympton.

The Club currently does not have its own Club room facilities, but has access to utilise the facilities of the Edwardstown Football Club at the Oval.
Our Club is fortunate to hold the sub license (management by EOC) for the use of the track and is one of only two remaining clubs in Adelaide with a velodrome. (The other being Kilkenny CC at Hanson Reserve)
During summer, we offer track training (currently Tuesday evenings Oct-March) which may include motor pacing for speed training behind a motorcycle with a rear roller.(currently off!)
To promote cycling and engender riders of all ability , some time ago the club agreed to a joint "co-hosting" of racing on Friday nights over summer with the NSCCC (now South Coast Cycling).The "Lead" club for these events is SCC ! Generally a BBQ sizzle and drinks are available during the event and from feedback by riders/spectators these events are well received by all.
The Club has a limited number of track bikes that are available to trial riding a track bike. We are also happy to include road bikes in our track training sessions for those who do not have a track bike.
A new club jersey and knicks are now available for purchase, Sizes are limited but delivery of individual sizes can be readily arranged. Wearing of the club colours is not mandatory , but obviously all members are encouraged to wear our colours at races. The current club captain : 'Jeffrey Schulz' and family has generously donated funds to subsidise the cost of jerseys to juniors. Please contact the club for details.
During both winter and summer, many Club riders regularly train together on the road by friendly arrangement, during the week and on weekends.
